CENOTES
Cenote Oxman
A favourite of mine, Oxman is beautiful, but also offers a bit of history from its 1750 hacienda. Visitors can swing into the cenote on a rope, jump from platforms or lower themselves into the cenote to float, swim behind the tree roots and simply admire its beauty.

CENOTES
Cenote Nohoch Nah Chich
Something of a hidden gem, Cenote Nohoch is extraordinary. Be guided through part of a 368km (220 mile) underground water system with underwater flashlights to admire the stalagmites and stalactites both under and above the water level.

CENOTES
Cenote Cristalino
Explore four different styles of cenote in a single location. Dip your feet into a shallow pool and enjoy the fish nibbling at your toes and ankles, float in an open cenote in the jungle, swim through a partially enclosed cave and jump from a platform into a deep open cenote.

CENOTES
Cenote Siete Bocas
Jump from a cliff, or walk down some steps into one of several holes in the ground, and then swim through connected cenotes, your jaw dropping at the water colour, the cave formations, the bats and the fish who swim around you.

CENOTES
Cenote Sol y Luna
Zipline into a large open cenote, or jump from one of its platforms of varying heights, or even just walk in down some steps. While there, perhaps decide to enjoy an ATV ride, visit a replica of a Mayan pyramid, or enjoy the waterslides and pool.

CENOTES
Cenote Ik Kil
The most famed cenote near Chichen Itza, this is rightly famous for its beauty. Walk into the water of jump from its two low platforms and just enjoy the sights and sounds of all those around you.

CENOTES
Cenote Suytun
One of the most instagrammable cenotes with a single small hole in its roof, Suytun is a sight to behold, especially at noon May to August if there’s smoke to create a shaft of sunlight landing on the central platform in this shallow cenote.

CENOTES
Cenote Azul
Near Playa del Carmen, Cenote Azul offers three types of cenote: dangle your feet in the water for the fish to clean your skin, swim in a deepish small cenote or jump from a cliff into or float around in a large open cenote.
