The tour does not include lunch. The guide will make a recommendation of a restaurant after understanding your preferred tastes and budget.
Any sunbed rental or consumption while on the beach (some restaurants offer sunbeds with minimum consumption)
Two optional tours are available, and payable separately. Either (1) Three Islands Tour on a boat (shared) to see birdlife in multiple locations and cross back to the mainland for a swim in an open cenote) (2) Boat trip (shared) to try to see whale sharks from mid-May to mid-September.

About Tour
Collection in a classic 1990 VW Beetle (or Audi if preferred) from your Cancun, Puerto Morelos or Playa del Carmen hotel for a 2:30 hour drive through small Mexican villages to Chiquila and a 30-minute ferry crossing to paradisiacal Holbox Island. Spend several hours on the beach, drinking & eating fine food, seeing wildlife, swimming in a cenote (as part of optional ‘3 Islands Tour’) or just relaxing in paradise. Return in the ferry and the long drive back to your hotel.

What to expect
Pick-up can be at any address in Cancun, Puerto Morelos or Playa del Carmen. If staying in a hotel with a security gate, please advise Señor Travel Bug in advance of your room number which will be required to gain access and pick you up.
Visit the small town of Holbox on the only inhabited part of the island. The island has no asphalted roads or private cars, transport being more typically golf carts or bicycles on the all-sand roads. Walk along the 5km (3-mile) uninterrupted beautiful beach, including if the tide is right the opportunity to walk on the sand bar in the middle of the turquoise water sea. Relax on the beach, dipping into the sea periodically and just soaking up the vibe of the island where your guide married his Mexican bride!
The tour will deliver you back to your pick-up point (or any other destination in Cancun, Puerto Morelos or Playa del Carmen if preferred)
