We will park the car at the last passable point before the sand dunes sweep across the road and walk from there. We will first walk the laguna-side of the sand dune peninsula looking at the birdlife and learning some of their curious behaviours, while also admiring the beauty, the early morning fishermen, looking at shells and horseshoe crabs. We will the cross the sand dunes looking our for birdlife and maybe even some mammals, reaching the 11km-long virgin beach on the Caribbean side. There we will enjoy views of Isla Mujeres and Cancun’s hotel zone in the distance, watch pelicans fly by and diving into the water for fish as magnificent frigatebirds soar overhead. Your guide will take candid and portrait photographs of you in this gorgeous natural setting in the early morning light.
